ZAG: SENSES “Intellectuals in an Era of Change: Challenges for Education”
Zenyk Art Gallery launched an interdisciplinary project “ZAG: SENSES” aimed at understanding key social and cultural processes through a dialogue between art, education and science. The first event was an intellectual conversation “Intellectuals in an Era of Change: Challenges for Education”.
On February 20, 2026, a rector's polylogue was held with the participation of the heads of leading Lviv universities:
- Natalia Bogdanivna SHAKHOVSKA, rector of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic", Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor
- Roman Yevhenovich GLADYSHEVSKY, rector of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, academician of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor
- Vasyl Mykhailovych KOSIV, rector of the Lviv National Academy of Arts, Doctor of Art History, Professor
Moderator – Bohdan Serhiyovych TIKHOLOZ, director of the Lviv National Literary and Memorial Museum of Ivan Franko (Franko House), Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor
The focus of the conversation is the nature of intelligence and the ways of its formation, the concept of multiple intelligences, the challenges of the age of artificial intelligence and the role of university communities in responding to the demands of the time.
A candid conversation between thought leaders in the ZAG space is a joint search for meaning through dialogue, where art appears as a medium for research and lively conversation about issues that not only define the present, but also shape the future.
