On April 3, 2026, Zenyk Art Gallery held the second meeting of the interdisciplinary project “ZAG: SENSES” — a rector’s polylogue on trauma, resilience, and recovery.
The following took part in the conversation:
-Larysa Didkovska, rector of the Ukrainian Free University (Munich, Germany), candidate of psychological sciences, professor, psychotherapist-practitioner, president of the Ukrainian Association of Gestalt Therapy
-Taras Dobko, rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University, doctor of philosophy (PhD), associate professor, philosopher-phenomenologist
-Orest Chemerys, rector of the Lviv National Medical University named after Danylo Halytsky, doctor of medical sciences, professor
Moderator – Bohdan Serhiyovych TIKHOLOZ, director of the Lviv National Literary and Memorial Museum of Ivan Franko (Franko House), candidate of philological sciences, associate professor.
The focus of the conversation is on what trauma is and what it looks like, how traumatic experiences change a person and society, where to look for internal and external resources for recovery, what helps restore a sense of safety and wholeness, and how communities can become a space of support.
