Art Poster Exhibition

An exhibition of art posters by students of the Lviv National Academy of Arts opens on July 25 at Zenyk Art Gallery
Dates: July 25 – August 7
Location: Zenyk Art Gallery, Conference Hall (3rd floor)

For two weeks, Zenyk Art Gallery will showcase the works of young artists — students from the Department of Graphic Design at the Lviv National Academy of Arts. This poster series is a gift and a token of gratitude to the Academy for its support: since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, ZAG Gallery and the Kozytskyi Charitable Foundation have supported a scholarship program for students striving to grow as artists despite challenging circumstances. The foundation has also supported the Academy's initiatives, particularly those aimed at inclusion and creating an accessible educational environment.

As a gesture of gratitude and trust, first-year students of the Graphic Design Department at LNAA have created a series of art posters dedicated to ZAG Gallery. They worked on these pieces throughout the semester — as a personal artistic statement and an attempt to reflect on the role of culture, art, and the gallery itself in the modern context.

Since Zenyk Art Gallery is dedicated to the memory of Zenyk Kozytskyi Jr., the posters’ central theme is his image — symbolizing a young person open to and full of faith in art. The visual language of these works reveals the influence of William Morris, Tadanori Yokoo, Myron Levytsky, Alphonse Mucha, Kazimir Malevich, Yusaku Kamekura, David Klein, and Henryk Berlewi.

The exhibition will be located in the gallery’s third-floor conference hall and will be accessible with a ticket to the main exhibition.
