A new exhibition titled "ECOCIDE" by Viktor Prodanchuk opens on August 30.
Dates: August 30 – September 10
Location: Zenyk Art Studio Space (ZASS) – 3rd floor of the ZAG Gallery
The exhibition will feature works by Viktor Prodanchuk, an artist who draws upon the spirit of Ukraine’s ancient cultures — Trypillia, Scythians, Sarmatians, Cimmerians, the Kyivan Rus’ era, and Hutsuls. He creatively works in sculpture, graphics, and experiments with diverse techniques and materials.
"ECOCIDE" is dedicated to the theme of mass environmental destruction and its consequences for humanity and the planet. The exhibition is an experimental platform where a new aesthetic is formed through various materials: "molded" artworks and combinations of artistic forms using kinetic elements and repurposed objects become metaphors for resistance to ecological destruction and serve as a call to rethink the human-nature relationship.
The exhibition will be located in the conference room on the third floor of the gallery and is accessible with a ticket to the main exhibition.
