As part of their visit to Lviv, participants of the international conference “Cooperation for Resilience”—one of today’s leading events in the field of culture—visited Zenyk Art Gallery (ZAG).
The city welcomed more than 40 international delegations, 10 Ministers of Culture, as well as representatives of UNESCO and leading cultural institutions. The Ukrainian delegation was led by Tetiana Berezhna, Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Minister of Culture of Ukraine.
During their visit to the gallery, the guests explored the exhibition “HE: Taras Shevchenko. The Artist”, which offers a different perspective on Shevchenko—presenting him as an artist of European significance, a visionary, and an innovator of visual language.
The visit formed part of a broader dialogue on the role of culture in times of war. Ukraine’s experience today is one of preservation, rethinking, and action. Culture in Ukraine has not stopped—it continues to serve as a powerful instrument of resilience, cultural diplomacy, and the shaping of a shared future.
As an institution, ZAG is committed to this mission by:
presenting Ukrainian art on the international stage;
creating a platform for professional dialogue;
integrating the Ukrainian experience into the global cultural landscape.
We are grateful to our international partners for their continued attention to Ukrainian culture and for working together to preserve and develop it.
