On September 27, the Zenyk Art Gallery rooftop terrace hosted a charity art evening and auction titled "PRINCE. GIVE ME BACK TO MYSELF." This marked the thirteenth joint auction organized by the gallery and the Kozytskyi Charity Foundation—a continuation of a partnership where art unites people to help those affected by the war.
This time, funds were raised for the reconstructive treatment of Ms. Liudmyla from Zaporizhzhia, who sustained severe injuries during a Russian missile attack on October 9, 2022. Following a series of complex surgeries in Ukraine and Poland, she is continuing her treatment at the Superhumans Center. The evening was dedicated to supporting the next stages of her recovery.
Eleven lots were presented at the auction, featuring works by Oleksandr Honcharuk, Anatoliy Kryvolap, Vasyl Svaliavchyk, Fedir Manailo, Andrii Humeniuk, Myron Levytskyi, Iryna Marko, Roman Zhuk, Maria Prymachenko, and Bohdan Holovatskyi. Paintings, graphic art, sculptures, and ceramics brought together different generations and artistic styles in pursuit of a shared goal.
"GIVE ME BACK TO MYSELF" speaks to the possibility of feeling like oneself again—of living life and making plans for the future. That evening, auction participants stood alongside a person on this journey, offering collective support where personal hope needed it most.
