Charitable educational program for schoolchildren in the Lviv region

As part of the exhibition “HE: Taras Shevchenko. The Artist”, the gallery is launching a charitable educational programme for 9th-grade students from all territorial communities (hromadas) of the Lviv region.
Participation is free of charge for students.
The programme is designed for ninth-grade students and combines a guided exhibition tour with interactive activities. It offers a contemporary introduction to Taras Shevchenko as an artist of international significance, whose work provides a broader understanding of history, culture, and identity. This initiative is the gallery’s contribution to the development of cultural education for young people.
We believe that art fosters long-term thinking and a sense of responsibility for the future.
The programme is implemented with the support and coordination of the Department of Education and Science of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
Programme format:
Organised groups of 9th-grade students from territorial communities (hromadas) of the Lviv region
Two accompanying teachers
Duration: 60 minutes
Advance registration required
Programme dates: 2 March – 20 June 2026
