ZAG Studio presents a unique project “Ida. Inclusive Photo Exhibition”.
From August 14 to 24, the gallery will host an inclusive photo exhibition — a project that tells the story of the recovery of Ukrainian soldiers who lost their sight in the war.
The exhibition is based on photographs by British photographer John D. Tolliday, taken during rehabilitation camps in the Carpathian village of Bene. The photographs show the path to returning to independent life, where blind children become mentors for the soldiers, who prove by their own example that life after vision loss can be full.
A feature of the exhibition is its full accessibility for people with visual impairments. Each photograph is supplemented with a tactile relief image, a description in Braille and audio accompaniment, which makes the exhibition open to all visitors.
