ZAG Studio presents a solo exhibition by contemporary Ukrainian artist Olena Sloboda, "Stormy" - a project about internal landscapes that arise on the border of emotions and memory.
The title of the exhibition appeals to the state of agitation and the emergence of energy beyond the boundaries of form. In the artist's painting, "stormy" appears as a moment of emotional peak - through color, light and tension that transform the space of the canvas.
The exhibition brings together more than 20 works in the expressive manner of neo-expressionism. They have a tangible dialogue with tradition - from the expression of Edvard Munch to the elemental energy of Ivan Aivazovsky. At the same time, the author's holistic style is preserved.
"Stormy" is a space of internal experience, where the viewer can face their own experiences and feel a commonality in the search for meanings.
