ZAG Studio presents the photo exhibition “Faces of the Border”. These are the stories of ordinary people who stood up for Ukraine in the ranks of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. Yesterday they were entrepreneurs, actors, IT specialists, doctors, students. Today – artillerymen, aerial reconnaissance, medics, commanders.
These photos are about the sharp “before” and “after” into which the war divided them. Next to them – shots of peaceful life and front-line portraits. Smiles without body armor and looks hardened by battles. A contrast that speaks louder than words.
But despite the war, they remain themselves. They live, love, support their families and dream of simple things – silence, home, the embrace of children. This exhibition is about people who fight not because they were born for war, but because they want to return to normal life in their free Ukraine.
