SINGING CIRCLE “Petriwna Cuckoo” at ZAG Gallery
Summer is ripening. The sun touches the meadows. The cuckoo sings her song.
We invite you to a singing circle — a space where the voice returns to its roots.
Where song is not a performance, but a living act. A shared resonance, exploration, and feeling.
Together with Nataliya Rybka-Parkhomenko — singer, actress, and bearer of deep vocal tradition — we will dive into the summer cycle of Ukrainian folk songs: Rusalka songs, Kupala songs, and Petriwka songs.
These songs are like summer itself: tender and wild, simple yet full of meaning.
They hold love and harvest, water and fire, girls and herbs, fate and ancestors.
We will sing and come to know Ukraine through its sound.
After singing — we’ll stay for tea at the ZAG Café.
We’ll talk, rest, and simply be.
No singing experience is needed.
Only the desire to join.
Time: 19:00–21:30
Participation fee: 1200 UAH
