About the Event
We invite you to transport yourself—in your imagination—to the times and places where the artists of the "NASHI" (Ours) exhibition lived, and to experience their world through art and music. Behind every painting lies the world the artist inhabited: nature, the voices of loved ones, and songs sung at weddings, festivals, and social gatherings—everything that filled their days and served as a source of inspiration. Join us for a musical journey through the exhibition led by Liudmyla Zborovska—a folklorist, researcher, and performer of authentic music, as well as an Honored Artist of Ukraine.
Together, we will learn several traditional songs from the artists' home regions—songs that the artists themselves may well have heard from family, friends, or neighbors. Now, these songs will come to life through our own voices.
